On Saturday night Meredith invited me to come out and grab a drink with her... Spent Friday afternoon.... Feeling sorta better but still had a tough case of the winter blues (I feel like I look like the wincing / smile meme guy here. lol) Later that evening I met up with Fatty and we grabbed Indian food in the hood. On Wednesday afternoon, Vin came over for a hang and we laughed about.... That NYC December feeling. lol Morning hair. I has it. Post stretching photo Monday afternoon drew some... Recovery week. Spent the day... I suspected it could be possible, but didn't actually expect to see it happen. Sunday evening I used a face mask that Jane gave me. Met up with Grant at the Tompkins crescent of benches (The Crez) When that fall weather hits it always helps to cuddle your ween! Kathy was really excited to see the show! My Aunt Kathy and my cousin Kate came down from New Hampshire and we went to see Hamilton! Head halos. Cheated fall with a late September visit to Coney Island with Grant. On Sunday I was up at 530am to pack and head to the airport. Everybody on board and... Getting in on that sweet oxygen. Turns out that it's one of the many... Fresh (thin) air! Travel face. On the way back I took this picture when I had the thought "Oh shit, I think I'm going to buy this place." LOL. (Took me 8 months of thinking about it...but I eventually pulled the trigger in April of the following year!) ...in order to Ride Jetskis in the East River for the THIRD TIME . LOL. Someone brought along little sailor hats so that we could have a lil photo opp. I still think this is one of the neatest things you can do in New York City.We left Sheepshead Bay and passed Coney Island.... Turning around under the Brooklyn Bridge. So neat that you can just be floating around just offshore. ...under the Verazano Bridge... ...just laying on this spot in the center of my living room like a starfish. ...with Grant & Cheeky. We started around 11am and the blessing finished just after 3pm! Here's Kevin and I emerging into the bright sun four hours later. The only place I could hold the camera to not squint! ;D Played some MORE GUITAR in the morning and then.... I stayed up playing guitar in my undies... Spent my evening hanging in La Plaza One for the books, for sure! Awww, travel buddies! It was magical that I got to bring these two people together! Thanks for making my Wilhelm Reich Roadtrip dream come true, you two! We arrived back in Portsmith, NH around 8pm and decided to stop in and check out Kate's painting studio Before we left, John took this photo of me on the steps to Orgonon! john hands me his giant ring of keys and i'm excited that i get to drive. i'm a little sore from driving the previous day, but the museum is only 10 minutes away. i try to leave the motel by way of a parking lot with no exit. i make one of the many u-turns that we've made on the trip due to not knowing where we're going and phone, map, gps problems. it is both funny and frustrating at the same time. but mostly funny.
We got a solid seven hours of driving in and stopped to get a hotel room around 1am. ...with this guy. First 40 in the bag! Thanks to everyone I've met along the way who made me smile and laugh along the way. Here's hoping for another 40 half as good! ;) Came home to a dachshund very excited to see me. Was trying to take a regal birthday photo of us together... ...but someone kept trying to slip me the baloney tongue! (Ewwww!) Monday was my ACTUAL FORTIETH BIRTHDAY! Rolled out of bed and snapped a pic. It's official - you're on the BACK NINE! It's like a little piano that you blow into via a little mouth-tube! Preggo Sharrison came through!
