a person in 416 photos catrinel For team portrait #1 they used the trashbag/cone combo as a stand-in for me. We met back up for a little stroll over to McDonalds... My hunt buddy! We split into mini-groups to collect different stuff! Bar backyard. 5 Points! ...and got this pic of our whole team in the back! 25 POINTS! If you've got to talk to strangers and ask them to do weird things, you want Catrinel on your team! Not even a block later, jazz hands with a stranger! 10 POINTS! Before we'd even left the park, Cat managed to charm a stranger into letting her push a baby in stroller. 10 POINTS! Our team was Amanda, Clayton, Catrinel and me! Supposedly science has proved that scavenging proficiency is slightly increased when you're a little bit daytime drunk. Team member on a bus (15 points) with alcoholic beverage (+5 POINTS!). Nothing like risking arrest for those extra five points! Later that night Catrinel came over for a hang! A hand-fulla spoons can only mean one thing... The ladies can't get enough. It's easy to sneak up on your friends when they're wearing a mask. Love all these ladies so much. Happy birthday, Meredith! At four that afternoon, a whole bunch of us met up at Kate's Joint for birthday brunch! Right around midnight, we got our winter gear on... ...and later that evening, Cat came over dinner. There was a lady dressed like a cat who reminded me of Cat! Later that night I went out to Brooklyn for drinks. Spyro Mania With the park closing soon, all the lines for the big coasters were closed. So Cat and I decided... Taken just a second before our car went over the drop. Hahah. Refreshing Mountain Dew! Face nuzzling friends. But first, churro break! Next, we walked back over to the other side of the park... Up next! Cat, Astra and Amanda! The parking lot was practically empty... Everyone was accounted for and we were ready to hit the road by 8:45! ...while Cat, Amanda rode with Mer and me. ...and waiting for the rest of the Great Adventure gang to arrive. Gurj rolled over and realized her wet bathing suit made a happy face. Haha. Christina, Gurj and Cat! So much blanket real estate. We arrived to find Cat and Cynthia had already staked out prime real estate. On Monday night a bunch of us got together... Cat and Sarah. Sarah! Sarah, Mer, Cat and Cynthia. On Saturday we finally felt settled into our new place enough to invite people over for a little Saturday night boardgame get-together. Mardi gras masks! Cat's was gold and pointy. Diner buds. Victory lap. Cat and Annie stopping for a quick refreshment. Then Siege! We posed for a group photo before returning our skates. First with me in the photo! Haha. Annie and Cat. We knew Catrinel meant business when she took HER OWN skates out of her bag. After cupcakes, Siege handed out bunches of these bendable glowsticks that had all kinds of connecters and fasteners. We arrived just as the ladies were starting to accessorize. Catrinel! ...HAPPY NEW YEAR! (PS - Siege, the timestamp says this is 37 seconds into the new year. Later that night Cat came over to hang! You've never heard so much giggling, tittering and straight up "OH MY GAWDS!" in your life. On Friday night a whole bunch of us went over to Siege and KT's to surprise KT with a welcome back party! At 2:20am, someone had a brilliant idea: BIRTHDAY KARAOKE! Mostly because she enjoys seeing her friends have to do stuff like... Around 10:30, after the group had gotten a couple of drinks in them,... On Saturday night, Catrinel came over for dinner. For dessert, we decided to open up one of the MayDay Emergency Food Ration bars to see what it tasted like! (Verdict: Like a really dry, dense, crumbly lemon tart mixed with spackle.) On Sunday a whole bunch of went over to Siege and KT's for movie night! Cynthesizer & Cat. Comrade Nosweat and Necky waiting for the A train. Oh! Well, hello there. 7 out of 10! A couple minutes later, the rest of our group returned from a walk and decided to get in the mix. Going for 10! 5 out of 7! Getting there! 3 out of 7. 300% improvement! The larger your group is, the more difficult it is to capture everyone's feet in the air when you're taking a jumping photo. 1 out of 7 = FAIL!
