Meredith came over for a hang on Sunday. We were supposed to go to Sarah's birthday party on Saturay, but it was cancelled when her friend Marc Spitz died suddenly. (RIP, Mark! <3) I'm writing this in January of 2021 in the post-Covid era and it's nice to see all these people just chillen in a room. Maddy likes to be up where the action is and carried around like a loaf of French bread. ...to meet up with Meredith... ...and drop the hound off with her for a few days while I head to DC to visit my family for the holidays. On Saturday night Meredith invited me to come out and grab a drink with her... I had to run some errands on Thursday so Meredith came over to hang with Coney. Happy Thanksgiving, Meredith! On Thursday evening I went over to Meredith's for a stay-in-town hide-from-your-family Thanksgiving! Later that night I hung out with Meredith. Went north out of the city to visit Ellen and Hans at their new home for the first time! Congrats, you two! Meredith was there and was one day away from leaving for her trip to Myanmar to visit Jack . Ta-da! This was the INVERSE TIE DYE batch we tried with bleach and black t-shirts! ...and see how the shirts came out! Time to drain the water out.... On Monday night a bunch of us met up at Meredith's for a.... ...and then we took Maddy to East River Park for a long walk! Caught Meredith and Maddy cuddling on the couch on Saturday morning. ...and we went up to visit Meredith... Maddy is excited anytime she gets to spend time with Meredith. LOL. Hey, Bacardi get the party started. Meredith, Jane Anne & David As of 7pm, the park was ours to start setting up. Meredith & Jane Anne came over early to hang out. On Monday Meredith & Gurj came over to eat and hang! We ended up making 3d models. Lol. Big meal led to some team-napping! Mer came over Friday night to visit the hound and have dinner. Then we celebrated America with an Indian feast. Meredith came over on Monday night to celebrate the 4th and watch the fireworks. This little lapchicken is nervous because of the booms. On Saturday night a bunch of us went over to Meredith's new apartment to celebrate... Make a wish, Jeet! ...Gurj's birthday! I set up my new tripod and played around with my new remote trigger. ...and these two kept on snoozing. Aww, couch buddies. As far as I'm concerned, it's not a proper hang out unless it includes a small nap. Gurj woke up... Meredith & Gurj came over and we feasted on Organic Grill. Sunday night hangs with Mer at her new apartment. Later that evening, Meredith and I headed out to Queens... ...for a hang with Jared & Gurj! On Saturday evening, Ellen and I went up to Meredith's to celebrate her birthday! Came back to my place afterwards and had a vegetarian feast from Superiority Burger! Happy birthday, Mer! Thursday night I met up with Meredith on Bleecker Street to celebrate her upcoming BIRTHDAY with tickets to... After dinner, she showed me the LED herb garden I gave her as a housewarming gift! Later Thursday afternoon, I went over to 2nd Ave to have dinner at Meredith's BRAND NEW APARTMENT! Maddy is a huge pizza fan, FYI. Welcome back to Manhattan, Meredith! She didn't have a lot of furniture yet, so we improvised our dinner table... Meredith came over for dinner and a hang. Mer came over for dinner and to cuddle a Maddy. Important window conference with all the ladies. On Saturday morning, we checked out and said farewell before splitting up into separate cars for our drive home. Here's to a brand new year - love you all lots! ;) ...and spent the evening doing puzzles and having a mellow evening together. We ordered dinner in... We packed up later that afternoon and drove to a nearby hotel so we could enjoy one more night out in the Hamptons before driving home. ...pop it off for 2016! Happy New Year! As midnight approached, we moved to the party outside onto the deck! Four ladies I love. <3 ...to play Cards Against Humanity. Juliette was really excited to be partying with the grownups! Feel lucky to know all of you! (And sad that as I write this 2 years later most of you don't live in NYC anymore!) Happy November 2015! Before the month was over, we headed back to Hans & Ellen's for ONE LAST FEASTIN. I think Hans was out of town so it was a potluck style dinner. Hahah. Laugh until you fall down. Story time! This time to celebrate Hans' birthday! Early morning hang with these ladies I love in Quinn's very cool "pillow room." Made it to Asheville just as Meredith & Quinn were leaving the Halloween party they were at! Meredith came over for a hang in the evening. Meredith photo-retouching! Meredith had recently broken up with Dylan and our HEARTBREAK HOTEL agreement always stands so she came to stay on the couch for a few days and took turns holding the dogs until she felt better. ...and was looking like, whoa! ;) Meredith stopped by on her way out to a date... Returned to New York to find love notes & food from the dog-sitter! Watched a movie together before bed. Spent the evening together playing card games. The house had an excellent kitchen. Sunday 11am While out exploring for a place to eat dinner, we discovered a Zoltar machine! We celebrated our day out with a snack... Saturday was a big activity day. Slumber party! ...hung out by torchlight. We set up the tables and chairs in the garage out on the driveway and... It's funny you can just rent someone's house to hang out in. The future is different like that. Coffee break in Clark Summit, PA. Van team assemble ...directly to Brooklyn to a garden party celebrating Meredith & Dylan moving in together. Later that evening, I went out to Williamsburg to meet up with some familiar faces... Vacuum cuddlin Crowding in Sarah's bedroom like old times. <3 Happy Birthday, Cat! ...with a bunch of friends and a big Italian feast!
