Later that night, Mer, Grand and Amanda came over for an Indian feast and a screening of.... On Sunday evening people came over to watch the much anticipated... Jeremy Therapized did not disappoint! I walked up to meet Amanda and Meredith for a celebratory drink at DreamBaby, one of the few places open. Fellow karaoke enthusiasts Grant and Amanda were there! Aki, Liz, Mer & Amanda. Later Sunday evening, Grant and Amanda came over to watch season 3 of Louie... It was time for karaoke! (It's been awhile, old friend) ...and congratulatory catch-up... Welcome back, Matt! ...and a whole roomful of people he knew yelled SURPRISE! Later that night, Amanda came over... Grant, Amanda & Cait came over in the evening so we could all watch the Breaking Bad premiere together. Huge Italian feast. Later that evening, Mer and I went out to Brooklyn for dinner to celebrate... On Thursday evening, a bunch of us got together to see... Lovelies. ...head to a bar right down the street to meet up with these two to see.. Tuesday night movie and WAY too many snacks at Siege and Katie's. Yay, travel buddies! Meredith and Amanda out in the unreal, bath-warm water. Later that evening, we went out for a late night dinner on the strip. Fun motorcycle sidecar taxi ride. ...small airport. Where we waited... We woke up early and checked out! Afterwards, we headed back to the hotel for an early night jammy party. ...we opted for Shakey's Pizza! After a nap back at the hotel, we climbed through the fence so that we could walk along the beach... ...we met up in Amanda's room to try to figure out where we should all travel to next! Amanda only had 4 days before she had to come back to Manila and head home, so we wanted to travel somewhere close enough where we'd still have time to have fun! After a delicious breakfast downstairs... Let's hear it for international buddies! ...over to the hotel to meet up with Amanda! Amanda had been in Hong Kong and when she'd heard that we were going to be in the Philippines, we'd planned to meet up! Other team waiting for the timer to run out. Party posse. On Saturday we finally felt settled into our new place enough to invite people over for a little Saturday night boardgame get-together. This group photo makes me so happy. Hahaha. ...and handed them out so we could kick the night off with a festive streamer explosion! On Wednesday evening, a bunch of people met up at our place... A little after one, we decided to head back into Manhattan to try to catch up with Apt 3A. Someone gave Meredith a little fur-collared dog-jacket for Maddy that also doubled as a hand puppet... So fun. I got right down to business and handing out the special "party favors" I brought... Later that night Pauly and Amanda came over. Buds and snacks. We even had family night when we got home!
