Waking up! Here we go! After breakfast, we got down with a hardcore... Haha. It was really cold outside, and the space was a big, open converted barn, so we had to get the woodburning stove cranking and stay sort of close. Mer came by Saturday morning for a visit! After the state of singledom was finished being assessed, it was time to salve our wounds.... Went to a dinner party at Ellen & Hans' on Wednesday. After we ate, we busted out the big screen projector... ...Hahaha. And then Quinn took us through her collection of... Thanks for having us all over and cooking for us! ...to be fed by magic-man Hans at an Ellen & Hans' dinner party! So many lasagnas. Post-meal hijinks with Juliette. Mer & Dylan! Mer was there with her new boyfriend, Dylan. Classic Cowboy / Mouse combo! Matt had movie-style werewolf prosthesis glued to his face... ...it's really obvious... On Tuesday Mer came over to spend some quality time with the hound ladies. ...Mer, J-rod and Gurj came over for Tiny's Giant Sandwiches and a mega-hang! Jeet, Peter & Mer On Saturday afternoon, Meredith came over to hang out and I ended up breaking out my table and giving her a reiki treatment. Maddy always likes to get in the mix! ...lapse into a treat-coma! ...and headed over to Matt's for Thai food and a hang! On Saturday night Mer came over for dinner... Mer came over to hang on Tuesday... ...we got a sandwichy feast from Tiny's Giant Sandwich Shop. Mmmm. Friend portrait. First the ladies... Thanks for always inviting us all into your home and... Post-dinner Juliette play party. Meredith was in the neighborhood because she was working on getting her name changed back (Awwww, gain a Battjer - lose a Battjer!) and came over for an afternoon pizza party! Happy birthday, Mer! Mer came over to my place a little after 9pm, and we walked with the dogs over to the West Village... Later that night Mer came over to hang and snuggle Maddy sans socks. Smash them all together! Dog pile! Later that evening, I walked over to Hans & Ellen's in the East Village for a big holiday feast! Check out the table spread! Later that evening, Meredith came over for a Gruppo pizza night. Jalapeno & pineapple! Mmmmmm. Auto-timer class portrait before we all went our separate ways! Thanks for a lovely weekend, everyone! Hahaha. Back inside we were treated to bar dancing in a onesie! Even all the inhabitants of the Business Man's Shirt had to come outside to see what all the hub-bub was about. At one point, someone looked up at at the stitching pattern towards the top of the tent and noticed. "Hey, that looks like a shirt collar up there." Then, "Hey, Wait a minute, you guys..." Eventually, we made our way to the back of the property where they have a large teepee. After a few turns of playing, we figured out how to improve the game by adding a penalty... Always a quick way to "improve" any group game! After a few hours of warm-up , we graduated to a card game called Apples to Apples. FAM! Thanks for inviting us all out, Quinn! Just when I thought the night couldn't get any better... Said farewell to Josh, Jenny & baby Juliette.
