On Saturday night a bunch of us went over to Meredith's new apartment to celebrate... Make a wish, Jeet! ...Gurj's birthday! Hahah. Laugh until you fall down. Story time! Love all of these ones. Later that evening, Matt, Meredith & Ellen came over! Mer was getting ready to take a trip with Dylan for the first time! Thanks for having us all over and cooking for us! ...to be fed by magic-man Hans at an Ellen & Hans' dinner party! Post-meal hijinks with Juliette. Matt had movie-style werewolf prosthesis glued to his face... Later in the evening I went to La Palapa party room to celebrate Karen's birthday! That face ladies make when they're touching man boob! Post-ordering outdoor shenanigans. ...and headed over to Matt's for Thai food and a hang! Later that evening, I walked over to Hans & Ellen's in the East Village for a big holiday feast! Even all the inhabitants of the Business Man's Shirt had to come outside to see what all the hub-bub was about. After a few turns of playing, we figured out how to improve the game by adding a penalty... Always a quick way to "improve" any group game! ...and carried it around like a baby. Haha. Oh, Table 7! I got shots of everyone coming back... Rubano is a hotel professional and went right to the frozen French bread pizza. Awww, yeah. Our group made a slight detour along the way to climb all over a giant ant. ...to cool off outside. Matt had just gotten back in town for a few months on the road touring. Later that night, I had birthday drinks around the corner. Afterwards, I took a cab down to the West Village for a Mexican feast to celebrate Meredith's birthday. Later in the night I went over to Caiti's to meet up with John, Scott and Ty who'd just arrived in town. Meredith and Matt joining the slumber party. We found a fire pit near the barn and got ourselves a nice campfire going. It looks like they're putting on a play! ...to play some LRC before dinner! Haha. Matt wagers a Biggy. It was time for karaoke! (It's been awhile, old friend) I don't remember if there was a special occasion or if this was just a spring friend hang, but check out the solid Saturday night crew that rolled up into our place! Later that evening, we went out for drinks at HiFi! Three books deep! Private room at Sing Sing on a Saturday night. Prime time! On Saturday night a whole bunch of us got together to go out for karaoke! Our crew pretty much took over the porch. Mat and Mer on the dance floor. This photo is all about Nick's left leg. Hahaha. Later in the afternoon, we went to Walmart to pick up some party supplies... Getting serious. And then Gravy busted out some dice and we got caught up in a little LRC. Later that evening, Matt and Ellen came over to welcome us back home! Yay! After work on Monday afternoon, a bunch of us went over to Matt's for a swim Solid showing for 2am. Post show hang. ...uh, WHOA. Needless to say, this is a very intense and interesting movie. More-so, if you're familiar with The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying or any of the ontological Buddhist beliefs about the six bardos of existence . Around 11pm we decided to settle in and watch Enter the Void . We picked up Matt on Ave A... Mer refreshes Matt on his way to drop off coats. Inner courtyard. ...and met this guy out for a few drinks. Windy. Around 9ish, everyone started getting dressed up for the big dinner party. Mer & Matt in their Gatsby best. Matt, Ethan and Meredith. Haha. We landed a little after noon! We picked up our rental car and in less than an hour's time... Matt came over later on in the evening and at 2am... ...went to brunch welcoming Matt back into town after tour! (I think). Matt, Craig, Mer and Ellen. Then we all went to see Louis CK live at Carnegie Hall! Frank, Marina (with Henry inside!), Dave, Mer, Liz & Matt! Astra, Tyson & Matt came over later! ...and to celebrate Rachel's birthday! On Wednesday night we went to Freeman's for dinner to celebrate Mark's birthday! ...to play frisbee with a light up frisbee ! ...so we rounded up all the snacks and headed back downstairs. We got shit-hammered and ended up going back to Matt's place! Matt jumped so high he was out of frame! ...and got off at Brooklyn Bridge Kim, Jessie & Matt. Wonderful! I had such an amazing weekend. Thanks, everyone! I love you! So excited to check it out after hearing about it for so many years! ...joined forces with Pauly & Cynthia and drove out to Queens for a day at... A little after noon, Mer and I met up with Matt, took the subway out to Brooklyn... Lucky! Instead of ice cream cake, we just had an Ice cream soup party! The best thing about having an August birthday is that you can invite people to the beach to celebrate your birthday! A little before noon, we met up with Matt and Karen at the CVS by the 1st Ave subway to stock up on beach supplies... On the way home we stopped for gas... Snack table. Post-midnight Cranium session = strictly for the hardcore.
