Post-show reception line of adoring Amanda-fans. ...and then we went out to Katie & Siege's to watch... They've got a long-standing Christmas tradition of... Thankful for all the years I've known you, Clayton! xo! ...to wish Mr. Clayton Cubitt and very happy birthday! Every year Siege wishes for the same thing... Katie with the cake! After dinner, she and I walked over to Amanda's apartment for a TV premiere party! Grant had recently done a bunch of talking-head interviews for a new History Channel TV series called "How Sex Changed the World"... Happy taco birthday! Later that evening I met up with Caiti and we went over to Cynthia's for a birthday taco party! On Thursday evening, a bunch of us got together to see... Away we go! BBQ! Just as we were finishing up, Siege, Katie, Cynthia and Amanda arrived! Tuesday night movie and WAY too many snacks at Siege and Katie's. After the reading, we adjourned around the corner to Milady's (RIP!) for drinks! Party posse. Party crew! Outfit inspection PASS! Amanda was all over that see-through clothing trend YEARS ago. Later that night we went over to vBar for Carol's going away party! Such a fun crowd. Psssst, wake up! Yes about everything in this photo. Let's hear it for MISSUS PEEPER'S CREEPERS! For team portrait #1 they used the trashbag/cone combo as a stand-in for me. We met back up for a little stroll over to McDonalds... ...and got this pic of our whole team in the back! 25 POINTS! Our team was Amanda, Clayton, Catrinel and me! Supposedly science has proved that scavenging proficiency is slightly increased when you're a little bit daytime drunk. Discussing how to split up our friends into teams. Happy birthday, brother! ...and we played a card game... Mer, Siege and Amanda. Everyone was accounted for and we were ready to hit the road by 8:45! The photographer's lips pursed in an empathic smash. Haha. Siege, Amanda and Astra came together! Amanda, Katie and Siete. Cynthia, Clayton, Astra, Katie and Amanda! As we discussed the performance afterwards, Amanda became the primary target for bronsky re-enactments. Haha. Squeeze the birthday girl. So fun. I got right down to business and handing out the special "party favors" I brought... Amanda and Siege. Returning the van. Shooting, kissing and crying! A great wedding wedding elicits a wide array of responses. All dressed up! ...rent a van and drive up to the wedding together! Roadtrip! Surprise! On Sunday a whole bunch of went over to Siege and KT's for movie night! Later that night a whole bunch of us went to Amanda's for birthday treats and a game of Trivial Pursuit. Everyone was so tired from being out in the sun all day (well, except for Siege of course) and kept falling asleep! More like Nap Pursuit! Look how SNEEPY everyone is! Happy birthday, Amanda! Then a couple songs later, Meredith, KT and Siege joined the party and we all nerded out together. Just cuz you're getting married doesn't mean you gotta grow up or anything! Thanks to everyone for keeping the surprise a secret and for coming out to help me surprise Meredith! It meant so much to have so many people we love be there to share that huge moment in our lives! A little after 7pm, we thanked Sarah for her hospitality and then all piled into Sarah's elevator to head out. Amanda, KT and Siege. Indoor grilling in June in a NYC-sized apartment = 1,000 degrees Farenheit. Meredith was like "It's so hot in here, let's go up on to the roof" and everyone had to keep making up excuses about why we were staying in the roasting-hot apartment. On Friday night a whole bunch of people came over to our place to hang and play some Cranium! After a couple of rounds of Catch Phrase... Five people on a love seat! Awwww. After I took this photo, I put my camera down somewhere and then couldn't find it! I looked and looked, but it totally had disappeared! A couple of minutes later, I returned from getting another drink in the kitchen and it turned up. I turned the camera on... Talk about a Holiday Party reunion! Sunday night a WHOLE buncha people came over to our place to play play Cranium! After all the pumpkin carving was done, we all relaxed and had hot totties and snacks and drinks just like real grown ups! Group shot! Group shot take two. I put the camera's auto-timer on, set it on top of the TV and managed to sneak into the shot. ...a pumpkin carving party at Siege and Katie's new apartment! After, Kate and Siege took us all out for pizza and beers for helping with the schlepping. Mmmmmm, pizza. Mmmmmm, beer. Nina , Siege , Amanda and KT! So were KT, Siege and Amanda! Amanda's big red lips and Siege. Right after this photo was taken, Amanda used those big red lips and... Hahaha. I love this photo! Here's Amanda, Siege , Grant, Mike, Brownstain and Eric George all throwing down B-boy (and B-Girl!) style. Even Siege was there (briefly)! Check him out getting some double nipple pinchin' action in his D&D shirt (This is no game, indeed!) Which sorta became the catalyst for a 2nd little mini-party in my bedroom. Siege (drinking a Sour Apple Smirnoff Ice, no less!) and Mandy Moo. The affair started low-key with the usual suspects (Grant, Fatty, Katie, Amanda and Siege) chilling in my room. Amanda got Grant a DVD player that plays DVDs from all regions so that he could watch DVDs from England! Amanda prepares to open the giant, over-sized nativity scene card that I got for here that played music when you open it! (The MIDI version of "Silent Night, Holy Night" if I recall correctly). Amanda (I think!) got Siege... Our blurry entrance! Hickeyed Siege and Amanda sans glasses. Amanda trashin' it up. *Gasp!* One of these guys is doing his own thing... Group shot underground. A little while after the ball dropped, Amanda got a Happy New Year phone call from her mom...
