On Monday night I went to a TACO PARTY at Casa de Wang! I was reading a meditation book written by the HeartMath Institute and I have written down in my diary that I was practicing their technique on the subway ride to Brooklyn. I walked all the way back home, dropped Maddy off, and then headed out to Katie & Siege's... The rest of our mewvie crewww. Happy taco birthday! Later that evening I met up with Caiti and we went over to Cynthia's for a birthday taco party! On Thursday evening, a bunch of us got together to see... Sunday morning breakfast at the main lodge. Lovelies. BBQ! Just as we were finishing up, Siege, Katie, Cynthia and Amanda arrived! So much fun. First we started things off by ordering WAY TOO MUCH sushi. ...for Ellen's birthday breakfast celebration! Happy Brithday, Ellen! Party posse. ITALMOSTFITSINMYMOUTH. Ok, I'll admit it... Later that night, we went to Casa de Wang for taco night! Later that night we went over to vBar for Carol's going away party! Such a fun crowd. After the Gaylords party, we adjourned back to our apartment for a late-night screening of... I had such an amazing weekend. Thanks, everyone! I love you! On Saturday we finally felt settled into our new place enough to invite people over for a little Saturday night boardgame get-together. ...to celebrate Mardi Gras! As we discussed the performance afterwards, Amanda became the primary target for bronsky re-enactments. Haha. Squeeze the birthday girl. ...and Katie couldn't keep her hands out of there! Haha. I love this photo. Amanda has these pants that lace up in the back... On Sunday I had a late brunch at Clinton Street Bakery with Amanda and Cynthia. On Saturday afternoon I went to an afternoon drinks party that Amanda put together - but it was so so so hot outside that... Amanda and Cynthia. Surprise! Did you know that Sing Sing is open until 5am on Fridays? We just kept on rocking (and drinking - let's hear it for BYOB!) until they told us we had to leave. Mer and Fatty decided to call it a night, leaving just me and three other party-soliders standing (one of whom was tuning his air guitar, no less). (Nervous laughter) After discovering that my camera was basically a "panty x-ray" device for those black stretchy pants, we did a round-up. On Saturday evening, we headed over to Siege and KT's apartment for a jackolantern carving party! (Just like the previous year !) Couch-hug for the birthday girl! Buddies.
