Caught a couple of shows back at the festival and then went out... Happy birthday, Gurjeet! Love you! I set up my new tripod and played around with my new remote trigger. On Saturday morning, we checked out and said farewell before splitting up into separate cars for our drive home. Here's to a brand new year - love you all lots! ;) Happy 2016! I still remember the words and melody: "We used party ten years ago, and now we're all still friends!" Haha. Two more! ...more people joined in! Each time we snapped... I spent the beginning of October out in Montauk for Ellen & Hans' awesome wedding (lots more pics of that coming soooooon!) So sophisticated! We got our ping pong on for a few hours... Me and Jeet. She'd gotten some last minute tix through work. Gurj came over a little after midnight, and in contrast to our asleep-on the-couch by midnight Saturday night a few weeks ago... Gurj came over for a feast-over! Such buddies. Sunset selfie! Almost four hours after arriving and we still hadn't managed to ride a ride. FAAAACK! Great Adventure, here we come! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GURJEET! I love you! We scored some ice coffees, walked up the street, scored our Zipcar... You only get a February 29th once every four years... Everyone had the day off on Monday for MLK Day. Gurj came over in the early afternoon. ...we asked them to take a group photo for us! Let's hear it for diner / bowling therapy! A little over an hour later we were fresh as daisies... Nice little Saturday. We woke up to a drizzly Saturday afternoon and headed down to the Mission... Five and a half sleepy hours later... Happy birthday, Gurj! Thanks for being my friend! ...3...2...1... ...we'd made it to the (almost totally empty) parking lot. We'd made such good time on the way down that we had plenty of time to set up my camera to try to catch shots of us jumping in the air using the auto-timer. Haha. Who likes roller coasters? We met up at the coffee shop below my apartment and headed out to pick up our rental car. Happy birthday, Gurj! We all changed into our civilian clothes and met up in the suite for some... Later that afternoon, the seven of us loaded ourselves into the family van we'd rented for the weekend... ...it's just a quick walk through Chinatown to get to VEGGIE DIM SUM! Woooo!
