Milkshakes and a late night snack with Amanda... I walked up to meet Amanda and Meredith for a celebratory drink at DreamBaby, one of the few places open. Fellow karaoke enthusiasts Grant and Amanda were there! Amanda & DKNY. Aki, Liz, Mer & Amanda. ...and we went to Satsko for a sake-ridden catch-up. Pauly was in town visiting. Amanda came over to meet up with us... Later Sunday evening, Grant and Amanda came over to watch season 3 of Louie... NOT ENOUGH! How many midnight slices have I eaten with these people I love? Catalog shoot gone improv! Waiting for the rest of our party on the stairs with a lovely-terrible view of St. Marks on a Wednesday at midnight. It was time for karaoke! (It's been awhile, old friend) ...and congratulatory catch-up... Welcome back, Matt! ...and a whole roomful of people he knew yelled SURPRISE! Later that night, Amanda came over... Later that evening, Mer and I went out to Brooklyn for dinner to celebrate... For dessert, we had assorted birthday donuts from the Donut Plant. Happy taco birthday! Later that evening I met up with Caiti and we went over to Cynthia's for a birthday taco party! On Thursday evening, a bunch of us got together to see... Away we go! Sunday morning breakfast at the main lodge. ...doesn't mean you can't have a dance party. Lovelies. BBQ! Just as we were finishing up, Siege, Katie, Cynthia and Amanda arrived! Haha) ...head to a bar right down the street to meet up with these two to see.. Tuesday night movie and WAY too many snacks at Siege and Katie's. So much fun. On Saturday afternoon we met up with Marina & Dave at Back Forty. Yay, travel buddies! Meredith and Amanda out in the unreal, bath-warm water. Later that evening, we went out for a late night dinner on the strip. Fun motorcycle sidecar taxi ride. ...small airport. Where we waited... We woke up early and checked out! Afterwards, we headed back to the hotel for an early night jammy party. ...we opted for Shakey's Pizza! After a nap back at the hotel, we climbed through the fence so that we could walk along the beach... ...we met up in Amanda's room to try to figure out where we should all travel to next! Amanda only had 4 days before she had to come back to Manila and head home, so we wanted to travel somewhere close enough where we'd still have time to have fun! We ended up deciding on Boracay ! White sand beach, here we come! After a delicious breakfast downstairs... Let's hear it for international buddies! ...over to the hotel to meet up with Amanda! Amanda had been in Hong Kong and when she'd heard that we were going to be in the Philippines, we'd planned to meet up! Group shot! That sake stuff sure works! Supposedly science has proved that scavenging proficiency is slightly increased when you're a little bit daytime drunk.
