On Wednesday night we went to Freeman's for dinner to celebrate Mark's birthday! ...Matt and Ty came over! I love early September when everyone's still gung-ho about squeezing the last bit of nice-weather fun out of summer. ...to play frisbee with a light up frisbee ! Later that evening, a whole bunch of people met up at our place... ...so we rounded up all the snacks and headed back downstairs. Love these two. Fruit! Amber met up with us and it was also the first time I met Tyson. We got shit-hammered and ended up going back to Matt's place! French toast and pancakes! Haha. Matt jumped so high he was out of frame! ...and got off at Brooklyn Bridge We took the 6 train... Kim, Jessie & Matt. Later that evening, we all met back up to do a late-night walk over the Brooklyn Bridge. Wonderful! I had such an amazing weekend. Thanks, everyone! I love you! The men's are grey and blue! So excited to check it out after hearing about it for so many years! ...joined forces with Pauly & Cynthia and drove out to Queens for a day at... A little after noon, Mer and I met up with Matt, took the subway out to Brooklyn... Lucky! Love this guy. Instead of ice cream cake, we just had an Ice cream soup party! We even got to play beach frisbee! BIRTHDAY DREAM COME TRUE! We picked up Charles and Sarah and hit the subway. Haha. Mostly-empty subway car means that you can do things like try out your beach chair on the subway. The best thing about having an August birthday is that you can invite people to the beach to celebrate your birthday! A little before noon, we met up with Matt and Karen at the CVS by the 1st Ave subway to stock up on beach supplies... Love you, buddy. Matt's UCB graduation show! Woooo! Monday morning breakfast time! Dishes were whipped up... They tickle so hard it's almost torture. ...LIKE THIS! It makes me feel... Rabbit ears. One for the fellas. Matt wandered off and came back with a box filled with ice cream treats. MURIKA! Matt takes the maiden slide (of FREEDOM). On the way home we stopped for gas... Snack table. Later that night we were walking to the movie theater with Matt and Ellen when we got waylaid by the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck. Matt busted out massive Fla-vor-ices for dessert! Too much? Even haul your gear. Everyone do "fusion" on the count of three! We headed over to Bleecker Street to see Matt play a reunion show with Schleigho! Pauly and Matt showed up first and they had matching haircuts and beards FOR THE SECOND TIME IN A ROW! Haha. Still beardtastic, though. The first time back in October 2009 ! (Grant just saw this photo and commented "Whoa, look at those two hair-farmers!" Hahaha). We even managed to get them to hold a photo of them matching the first time! So good! Later that night we met up with for a late dinner at Black Market! Awesome even when it's a little cloudy. On Sunday afternoon we went over to Matt's roof! Matt back from tour! Make a wish! On Saturday we finally felt settled into our new place enough to invite people over for a little Saturday night boardgame get-together. Ellen, Josh, pale-faced post-puke me and Matt on our way out of the party. Congrants on LA, Gideon! Sorry I barfed on your roof! Happy April 2010! So much love for this. Hahah. All of Gideon's stuff had already been sent ahead to LA already so he'd been camping in the bedroom. Haha. Feeling it. Speaking of virginity, then we all played Rockband. Afterwards, we went next door to The Smith for a big brunch! Awesome. I can't imagine that any of us would've enjoyed her reading nearly as much had she kept her regular shoes on.
