I was walking down the narrow stone staircase that's cut into the hill that descends to Ellen's house and I almost walked face first right into THIS orb-weaver. Ooof! Look at his spiky legs. He was the size of a quarter, easily!
Oh, and she was also really into HUNTING FUCKING BEARS ON ATVs! HAHAHA. Holy fucking shit, I wish you could've seen Ellen's face when she first saw this photo and tried to wrap her mind around the fact that it's high-school Danielle proudly standing in front of a dead bear laying across the ATV she used to go hunting. WHAT?
Danielle is Ellen and Kaitie's other roommate! She lives downstairs from them in the semi-separate basement apartment and is REALLY REALLY into tanning products. Seriously. This entire shelf is dedicated to really expensive creams that you're supposed to rub on your body to enhance the tan that you get while laying in a TANNING BED. WTF?
Walking back to our apartment through Stuytown I stopped to admire the amazing colors and patterns on whatever kind of plant this is that they planted everywhere.
I walked over to the kitchen sink to wash my hands totally unaware that it was filled with living crabs and totally almost screamed out loud. Haha. I HATE CRABS! EWWWW! (I love their pretty blue claws, though)
Leigh took all of her video footage from the day and made this awesome movie. It makes me laugh out loud EVERY SINGLE time I watch it. Holy shit, is it funny.

...so I got to rearrange the furniture and put my green chair up real close in front of the TV. Haha. Check out my COMMAND CENTER setup: remote, spring rolls, two kinds of M&Ms, cell phone, game controller. THUMBS UP!
Later that night we met up with David on the street and went to dinner! Meredith snapped this picture of us right after we all met up on the street. Love it so much.
Locals told me the statue is nicknamed BIG BUTTER JESUS because it looks like it's sculpted out of butter. Haha. I just looked the statue's Wikipedia entry and get this: "On June 15, 2010 the statue was struck by lightning and suffered major damage in the resulting blaze. The statue was sculpted using a thin skin of fiberglass over a flammable styrofoam interior stabilized by a metal frame, and the fire left only its internal metal structure." THOU SHALT NOT PORTRAY ME IN DAIRY!
Mike hit the dance floor sans shirt and Pauly, who is buff and therefore always only needs one other shirtless person in order to to take off his shirt, had his jim jam off and tied around his waist in like 5 seconds.
Mike Max is the band's drummer and he was going for it so hard. Drinking an entire beer THROUGH your own shirt that you've pulled up over your face on the dance floor is NEXT LEVEL SHIT.
Everyone has a unique strategy to ensure your brand new spouse doesn't smash cake into your face. Marina went with the rock-solid "hand poised to intervene" defense...
I read my book and dozed; woke up just in time to enjoy the sunset. Right as I was about to go back inside and take a nap, Pauly texted and invited us over to their place...
