Got a chance to hang out and walk with Anni... Post hotel work out late night selfie! Sat in the park and called some friends back at home while I waited to... Got back to my room around midnight... All growsed up. After I headed back to my hotel for a nap and to get dressed for the wedding! At 3pm I headed back over to the ferry. ...and then I took the train back into Helsinki. Had the front seat in the middle row. Nice to have so much room on a long flight. Shawn was manning the grill and the BBQ ribs were OUT OF CONTROL. On the way home I stopped at a vintage store to get a "tropical" shirt for Siege & Katie's Hawaiian-themed Fourth of July party. ...and Karen for a holiday weekend brunch at Big Daddy's. We headed into Hoosick Falls to grab some lunch... On Sunday, I headed up to the cabin with Jane Anne for the first time. Saturday afternoon reading... Didn't even get sunburnt! Post-beach smiles! On Wednesday evening Vin & I went out to Brooklyn to attend Bev Chase's birthday! We had been requested to wear stripes! Handsome man navy! Wednesday was my first morning back in NYC after spending a week up at the cabin by myself in the woods for the first time . ....so Meredith came over to help me remove them! (Thanks, Meredith! You're a real one!) I kept an eye on the bite areas for a few days and little while later got tested for Lyme's...but lucked out came out negative! Lesson learned - wear a hat and tick spray up at the cabin! ...then Maddy and I hopped in the Wolverine and went exploring the trails on my property at HIGH SPEED! Rainy morning ween snuggles. ...and ended up punching myself in the face pretty hard. Lol. Mountain life! Such manliness. Post hike morning couch nap! I'm a mountain man now. lol. Baby's first trip to VIRTUAL REALITY! I was totally hooked. Ended up staying up super late testing out all the games he doesn't have time to play. lol On Friday Maddy and I headed down to DC... Maddy loves to wake up and go on her morning walk, but some morning she just wants to cuddle a bit first. <3 After Kevin left I stayed up late recording some guitar tracks. Does not like the dentist. Later that afternoon I went shopping for an outfit for an upcoming costume-themed party called "THE FUTURE" at The Hacienda. Glad we still get to do weird stuff together, Meredith! Got to dogsit Major on Monday. He reluctantly lets me hold him but is not very happy about it. Cheers, buddy. His friend Jeff is a bizzaro me that made me do a double take. On Thursday Meredith came by to drop off Major for a little dogsitting adventure. He was really scared and nervous and it took me 20 minutes of coaxing to finally get him to let me pick him up. ...spent some time cuddling with Maddy like she likes. A Monday of being self-employed. Slept in and... Got a haircut! Sometime you just take a random bathroom selfie? On Sunday I went to the gym and got schweaty for the first time in ages. Doing home workouts tryna get that lat meat to pop. Sometimes when I'm on the floor foam rolling, Maddy will come over and just fall into my arms. "Hello, can you love me now?" Cool to see how my colors change over time Back at home I dug up my stack of aura pics... On Friday afternoon Amanda and I met up and got Aura photos in Chinatown. She's on the left! Later that night I worked on... ...with Matt to visit Ellen! The cards were favorable and I emailed the realtor and put an offer in! Eeeek! Good to see you, buddy! <3 Morning cuddles with Maddy makes the winter better. Was feeling sad and depressed and was losing weight and feeling too skinny. After lots of interesting coin-tossing results, I decided to sit down and... Had my tiny mind melted. At least I had my favorite hat to keep me warm. Luckily I've got my hat. On the way home... Headed to dinner with my mom on the waterfront. THROW YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR FOR UNCLE BRIIIII-AN! Almost as soon as I'd gotten there, Leigh was like "Here you go" and handed me Lukas to me and just walked away to do stuff in the kitchen. LOL. It's really funny to meet a baby person for the first time. You can really feel a sense of what they're like even though they're brand new! I like that if I leave my camera lying around one of my friends will randomly snap a picture of me so there can be some pics of me on here that aren't selfies. ...and then home workout tricep dips on the couch. Winter home-workouts got me feeling like Marky Mark.
